v0.11.0
What's new
Recent improvements and changes to Unfollow Checker.
- v0.11.0
Six result lists and a two-column arrangement
- NewThe "Followers", "Following" and "Mutual" figures in the summary card open the corresponding lists; the total number of result categories is six.
- NewThe summary card contains a separate row with the "Not back", "Unfollowed" and "New" figures, together with an indicator of the net change in followers over the period.
- NewSelecting the username in a list row copies it to the clipboard.
- NewThe "Unfollowed" and "Not back" lists carry a note: an account may have changed its username instead of unfollowing, and a link to a previous username does not open a profile.
- NewA back-to-top button is available on the results screen and on the document pages.
- ImprovedOn wide screens the results are arranged in two columns; the site header remains visible while scrolling.
- ImprovedFurther portions of long lists load while scrolling; the "Show more" button has been removed.
- ImprovedAn account profile opens from any area of the row, not only from the link button.
- ImprovedThe demo mode reproduces the full composition of the results screen: the dynamics chart, the two-column arrangement, the lists from the summary card, and an account with more than 200 followers.
- ImprovedSelecting the "Done" heading opens the explanation about the baseline archive.
- ImprovedThe page background gains three moving highlight elements, with reduced brightness on mobile screens.
- FixedSelecting the header logo on the home page returns to the file upload screen.
- FixedThe demo-mode banner is hidden once an archive has been uploaded.
- v0.10.0
Export dates and repeated uploads
- NewHiding an account for the first time shows a note: hiding removes the row from the list only and does not unfollow the account on Instagram or Threads.
- FixedThe period the results cover is taken from the export creation date, not from the file date on the device.
- FixedUploading an export already saved as the baseline shows an explanation instead of returning to the previous results without notice.
- ImprovedThat explanation states the creation date of the saved archive and provides a button to return to file selection.
- ImprovedAdded a warning that Meta names an archive by the download date, not the export creation date.
- v0.9.0
Ten languages, feedback, and fixes
- NewThe interface is available in ten languages: English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian, Thai, Hindi, and Hebrew, with right-to-left support.
- NewA feedback form is available on the results page, including for reports about what did not work.
- NewSupport for the standalone Threads export: an archive that contains Threads data only is recognized.
- NewHandled accounts can be hidden in any list, not only in "Not following back"; each list remembers its own hidden rows separately.
- ImprovedThe page opens faster, particularly on mobile.
- ImprovedThe Instagram tab explains the absence of its data in an archive the same way the Threads tab does.
- FixedThe Cancel button stops processing an archive at any stage.
- FixedSelecting the same file again is processed instead of being ignored.
- FixedThe "mutual" badge no longer appears on new followers who are not followed back.
- FixedThe check history saves more reliably, even if the browser is busy or storage does not open on the first try.
- FixedHTML exports with threads.com links are recognized.
- FixedSmall list glitches: the avatar letter for names with special characters, and a stray date line when the follow time is unknown.
- FixedThe contact form: its check loads more reliably and it no longer loses the message topic.
- v0.8.0
Threads, HTML exports, and clearer errors
- NewMeta exports can be uploaded in HTML format, not only JSON; either of the two formats works.
- NewWhen only one of the two archives has Threads data, the Threads tab shows an explanation and the next steps instead of an empty screen.
- NewThe account an export belongs to is shown, and comparing archives from two different accounts raises a warning.
- ImprovedClearer messages when an archive is the wrong file or is missing data: the message states what to fix.
- FixedThe Threads tab no longer mirrors the Instagram list when an export has no Threads data, and instead reports that there is no Threads data.
- v0.7.0
A clearer first step
- ImprovedAfter the first upload, an explanation states why a single archive cannot show unfollows and what to do next.
- FixedA clear error when an archive has no followers list — instead of a confusing empty result.
- v0.6.0
Installable as an app
- NewUnfollow Checker can be installed as an app (PWA) and works offline.
- v0.5.0
Tracking unfollows period by period
- NewA "Set as baseline" control makes the current archive the reference point: the next, newer archive is compared against it and shows who unfollowed in that period. Repeating this step tracks unfollows step by step.
- v0.4.0
An interactive demo
- NewAn interactive demo with sample data: the dashboard is available before any archive is uploaded.
- ImprovedA friendlier processing animation during file analysis.
- v0.3.0
Changes over time
- NewA "Changes over time" chart grows with each check and shows follower and unfollow trends.
- ImprovedThe last comparison survives a page reload.
- v0.2.1
Small fixes
- FixedAfter the first comparison, the page scrolls to the results.
- FixedTooltips no longer get clipped or widen the page.
- FixedRestored the per-platform follower and following counts.
- ImprovedBigger tap targets and a tidier layout on mobile.
- v0.2.0

- ImprovedThe sort order is remembered separately for each list.
- ImprovedClearer step-by-step export instructions — with direct links into Meta’s export page.
- v0.1.0
