How Unfollow Checker uses cookies and browser storage for site features, analytics and advertising, and how to manage them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Similar storage, such as localStorage and IndexedDB, can remember settings or save information between visits.
Why we use cookies and browser storage
Site features and preferences
Browser storage saves your analysis results, sign-in session, preferences and whether you have acknowledged the cookie notice. Some of these functions use local storage rather than cookies.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures visits, page views, referral sources and usage events using pseudonymous identifiers. It may use cookies to recognize returning browsers.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand interactions through usage events and masked session replays. It may use cookies to connect activity across visits. Neither Clarity nor Google Analytics receives your raw export archive.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides additional visit and performance measurements without analytics cookies.
Advertising cookies and choices
On pages with advertising, Google (Google AdSense) and other ad technology partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your previous visits to this site or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let Google and its partners show ads based on those visits. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized, depending on your location and choices. Google and participating partners may receive your IP address, browser and device information, browser identifiers and the URLs of pages you view. See the Google’s ad technology partner list and Privacy Policy for more details.
Turn off Google’s personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. For some other providers, use YourAdChoices or their links in Google’s consent message when it appears. That message also lets you manage your advertising choices on this site; the button below reopens it when available. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily stop all ads or all storage needed to serve them.
How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls for site data also let you clear local storage. Doing so may sign you out or remove locally saved results; it does not delete cloud account data or previously collected analytics records.
How the cookie notice works
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity run independently of the cookie notice. The “Got it” button only remembers that you have acknowledged it and closes the banner; it does not switch analytics on or off.
Changes
Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Please check this policy again when you want to review our current cookie practices.
